This MI City Is The Best Historic Small Town In The Nation: USA Today

MICHIGAN — A small Michigan town that sits along Lake Michigan was picked the best small historic town in the nation.

Ludington, well known for its miles of beautiful beaches along Lake Michigan and the famous Big Sable Point Lighthouse, was picked by USA Today as the best small historic town in the nation.

"Building its economy on the lumber industry, Ludington continued to thrive as a shipping port, both by water and by train. Today, visitors come to explore Ludington's small-town charm, take advantage of its waterfront location for swimming, boating, and more, and shop at its many specialty shops and art galleries," USA Today wrote of the small town.
