MICHIGAN — Gas prices across Michigan continued declining Monday morning, trickling down eleven cents from last week, according to AAA.

Michigan's drivers paid an average of $5.04 for a regular gallon of gas Monday morning, according to AAA.

Although gas prices continued declining Monday morning, Michigan's average is still 13 cents above the national average and remains one of the most expensive states to get gas in the nation, according to AAA.

Gas prices in metro Detroit also continued declining Monday morning, dropping 12 cents from last week. Drivers across metro Detroit paid an average of $5.14, which remains one of the highest averages in the state, according to AAA.
