MI Gas Prices Continue Dropping, Down 2 Cents From Last Week: AAA

MICHIGAN — Gas prices across the state of Michigan continued declining Monday morning, as drivers paid roughly two cents less than last week, according to AAA.

Michigan's average price per a gallon of gas fell to $3.92 cents Monday, 34 cents cheaper than a month ago when it recorded its highest average at $4.26 per gallon, according to AAA.

Michigan's drivers can expect to pay an average of $58 to fill up their gas tank, according to AAA.

Gas prices in the metro Detroit area also declined two cents from a week ago and as of Monday morning prices were down to $3.97. Metro Detroit's average is also significantly lower from a month ago when prices were at the highest at $4.27.

Some of the most expensive places for gas across Michigan were in Marquette ($4.13), Ann Arbor ($4.01), Traverse City ($4.00). Some of the cheapest places were in Lansing ($3.80), Grand Rapids ($3.81) and Saginaw ($3.82), according to AAA.
