MI Gas Prices Finally Fall After 3 Straight Weeks Of Yearly Highs: AAA
Drivers across Michigan paid an average of $53 for a full 15-gallon tank of gasoline Monday morning, according to AAA.

MICHIGAN — Gas prices finally dropped Monday across Michigan after increasing to yearly highs in the past three weeks, according to AAA.
Regular gas prices across Michigan fell Monday to $3.57, which is seven cents cheaper than last week but still 32 cents more than this time last month and 18 cents more a year ago, according to AAA.

"Michigan motorists are seeing slightly lower gas prices across the state," AAA spokesperson Adrienne Woodland said.
Regular gas prices in the metro Detroit area were also slightly down from last week Monday morning, according to AAA.

Drivers in the metro Detroit area paid $3.56 for a gallon of regular gas Monday morning, three cents cheaper than last week, but still 32 cents higher than last month and 13 cents higher than this time last year, according to AAA.
The most expensive places to get gas Monday across Michigan were in Jackson ($3.68), Ann Arbor ($3.61) and Benton Harbor ($3.59). The cheapest places to get gas were in Traverse City ($3.42), Flint ($3.47) and Marquette ($3.49).
