MI Gas Prices Jump Nearly 20 Cents Since Last Week: AAA

Gas prices across Michigan jumped nearly 20 cents in just one week, according to AAA.

Michigan drivers paid an average of $4.08 for a regular gallon of gas Wednesday, up from $3.90 last week and $3.55 last month, according to AAA.

Prices were also up in the metro Detroit area. Drivers in the region paid an average of $3.99 for a regular gallon of gas, up 10 cents from last week and 50 cents from last month, according to AAA.

It's unclear exactly how a two-week ceasefire in the U.S.-Iran conflict will affect gas prices in Michigan and across the nation.
