MI Gas Prices Raising Again, Back To Over $3 A Gallon: AAA

Average gas prices across Michigan jumped 20 cents over the past week, according to AAA.

MICHIGAN — Average gas prices across Michigan jumped 20 cents over the past week, according to AAA.

Michigan drivers paid an average of $3.21 for a regular gallon of gas Friday, 20 cents more than last week and 35 cents more than last month, according to AAA.

Average gas prices in the metro Detroit area also jumped Friday to $3.21, which is 22 cents more than last week and 31 cents higher than last month, according to AAA.

"Michigan motorists are seeing slightly higher gas prices compared to last week," said Adrienne Woodland, spokesperson, AAA-The Auto Club Group. "If oil prices continue to face upward pressure, drivers may see pump prices continue to rise."
