MI Gas Prices Spike Again, Approach Record High

The average price for a regular gallon of gas across Michigan on Friday was $4.86, jumping nearly 30 cents overnight, according to AAA.

Prices in the Detroit area also jumped nearly 30 cents overnight. The average price in the Detroit area is now $4.81, according to AAA.

Overall, gas prices in Michigan have jumped more than 70 cents this week and 90 cents since last week, according to AAA.
