MI Lotto 47 Ticket Hits $1.72M Jackpot

MICHIGAN — A string of lucky lottery tickets continue in Michigan, as someone in the state hit the $1.72 million jackpot in the Lotto 47 drawing Wednesday, according to Michigan Lottery officials.

The ticket was purchased online at MichiganLottery.com with the winning numbers: 04-12-25-33-41-47, according to lottery officials.

It is the fifth Lotto 47 jackpot win this year, according to lottery officials.

The game's largest jackpot won this year was a $7.19 million prize in the May 22 drawing. That ticket was purchased online by a player in Romulus.

The winning ticket comes just one day after someone in Michigan won $5 million in Tuesday night's Mega Millions drawing.

"It has been an incredibly lucky week for Michigan Lottery players who have won two $25,000 a year for life Lucky For Life prizes, a $5 million Mega Millions prize, and a $1.72 million Lotto 47 jackpot," Lottery Commissioner Suzanna Shkreli said. "These big wins have helped bring awareness to Lottery and will help us post a strong finish to the fiscal year with a contribution to the School Aid Fund topping $1 billion for the sixth straight year."

The winner should call the Michigan Lottery Player Relations Division at 1-844-917-6325 to schedule an appointment to collect their winnings.

The winner has one year from the drawing date to claim their prize, which has to be claimed at Michigan Lottery headquarters in Lansing.
