Police said Nauta "approached a traffic point" and "held a bottle to police and stated that it was 'C4' explosive and that it was the 'real deal.'"

Nauta then sped through the checkpoint and ignored officers orders to stop, according to police.

Officers then chased Nauta until he eventually stopped in the parking area where he threw bags of fertilizer from his car onto the ground, trying to make them appear that they were explosives, according to police.

Officers then arrested Nauta in connection with the incident.

There were no injuries in the incident and officers did not find any explosives, according to police.

"We are grateful for the efficient teamwork that ended this incident quickly, safely, and without interruption to the event or unneeded panic to its attendees," the post said.
