MI Man Fires Shots At Car Wash From Second-Floor Apartment: Police
There were no injuries, but police said the back window of a vehicle was damaged in the shooting.
ALPENA TOWNSHIP, MI — A northern Michigan man is facing charges after firing shots at a car wash from a second-floor apartment last month, according to Michigan State Police.
Kevin Worth, 51, of Alpena, was charged with two counts of assault with a dangerous weapon (felony assault), felony firearm, malicious destruction of personal property and two counts of disorderly person/disrupting the peace.
He was placed in jail with a $25,000 bond. His next court date is scheduled for June 17.

The incident happened at 7:20 p.m. on May 29 at a car wash in Alpena Township, according to police.
Police said Worth fired several shots from a pneumatic gun toward the car wash while standing on a nearby apartment's second-floor balcony.

Police used live drone footage to see where the shots were coming from. They ultimately identified Worth and arrested him at the apartment complex without incident. Investigators also seized evidence relating to the shooting, according to police.
Police did not release any other details.
