MI Mom, Daughter Found Dead In Car From Suspected Carbon Monoxide Poisoning: Reports
Investigators believe the mother and daughter were temporarily sleeping inside their vehicle "due to a condition" at their home.
BYRON TOWNSHIP, MI — Officials suspect carbon monoxide poisoning in the Tuesday death of a mother and daughter in west Michigan, according to reports.
Officers found the 38-year-old mother and her 16-year-old daughter dead inside a vehicle that was parked in a community lot at the Maplewood Mobile Home Park in Bryon Township, reports said.
Investigators said the vehicle had a "strong exhaust smell." They also noticed the floorboards and exhaust system were in poor condition, leading them to believe accidental carbon monoxide poisoning was the cause of death.
