Stevens, Somberg Win MI Primary For U.S. House District 11: AP
The Associated Press called the race shortly after 8:30 p.m. with roughly 40 percent of the counted.

MICHIGAN — Democrat incumbent Rep. Haley Stevens and Republican Nick Somberg cruised to easy primary victories Tuesday, according to the Associated Press.
The Associated Press called the race shortly after 8:30 p.m. with roughly 40 percent of the counted. Stevens had 85 percent of the Democratic vote and Somberg more than 60 percent of the Republican vote.
The two will face off in November to represent Michigan's 11th Congressional District, which covers most of Oakland County.

Stevens defeated Republican Mark Ambrose for the district in 2022. She was first elected to Congress in 2018 after working on Hillary Clinton’s and Barack Obama’s presidential campaigns.
