ONTONAGON COUNTY, MI — A popular travel website named a Michigan state park as the most beautiful state park in the nation.
The Porcupine Mountains Wilderness State Park in Ontonagon County was crowned as the nation's most beautiful state park by Travel Lens.
The website looked through reviews on Yelp and TripAdvisor to determine it rankings. More specifically, the website looked for the number of reviews containing the words "beautiful," "stunning," and "breathtaking" for each park.

The site also looked at Instagram photos from parks and Google searches.
The website found that nearly 89 percent of people used the keywords synonymous with the Upper Peninsula park known as "The Porkies."
