MI Troopers Deliver DoorDash Order After Arresting Driver: Police
Troopers learned the driver was wanted on an outstanding felony warrant during a traffic stop, according to police.
MT. PLEASANT, MI — Troopers delivered a woman's DoorDash order after they arrested the driver during a traffic stop last week in Michigan, according to state police.
Troopers in the Mount Pleasant area stopped the DoorDash driver for a traffic violation at about 10:30 a.m. on Friday, according to police.
During the traffic stop, troopers learned the driver was wanted on an outstanding felony warrant, according to police.

The customer then called the delivery driver and asked for an update on the estimated arrival time of the order, according to police.
That's when troopers spoke to the customer by phone and told her the driver was being arrested, according to police.

Rather than cancel the order, troopers went ahead and delivered the order to the customer’s home, according to police.
Police said the customer was very appreciative that the delivery still arrived.
"Great work and community service by our troopers in resolving the situation while still ensuring the customer received her order," police said.
