MI Woman Found Living Inside Grocery Store Rooftop Sign: Report

Police said the woman, whom they nicknamed "rooftop ninja" had been living in the supermarket sign for about a year, according to a report.

MIDLAND, MI — A Michigan woman is looking for a new home after police discovered that she was living in a rooftop sign above a grocery store, according to a report from the Midland Daily News.

Contractors were working on the Family Fare grocery store in Midland, located on Saginaw Road, near US-10, last week and unexpectedly discovered the woman was living inside the rooftop sign, according to the report.

Police said the 34-year-old woman, whom they believe has a job and a vehicle, had been living inside the sign for about a year, and had a mini desk, flooring, a pantry of food and even a houseplant, according to the report.
