MI Woman 'In Disbelief' After Winning $300K On A Scratch-off Ticket
The woman initially thought she won a $1,000 after scratching the ticket, according to Michigan Lottery officials.

GLADWIN COUNTY, MI — A Michigan woman, who was initially thought she won $1,000 on a scratch-off ticket was "in disbelief" after she realized she actually won $300,000, according to Michigan Lottery officials.
Kaylynn Totten, 47, bought her winning Top Secret Cashword ticket at Hunters Paradise, located at 9359 North M 18 in Gladwin, according to lottery officials.
Gladwin is roughly 35 miles northwest of Midland.

"When I scratched the ticket, I initially thought I won $1,000," Totten said. "I scanned it on the Michigan Lottery app to double check and was in disbelief when the amount of $300,000 came up on the screen! I took the ticket back into the store and had them scan it to make sure it was real. I am still waiting for it to hit me that I won $300,000!"
With her winnings, she plans to buy a car and a house, according to lottery officials.
