MI Woman Held Against Will, Severely Beaten With Wrench And Pliers: Police
Two men have been arrested in connection with the incident, according to police.
A woman is recovering after she was brutally beaten by two men who offered her a ride home this month in southeast Michigan, according to police.
The incident started in Pontiac where police said the woman was voluntarily picked up by two men who offered her a ride home on April 18.
Instead of taking her home, the men locked her inside the car and beat her with pliers and a wrench, according to police.

The men beat the woman for three to four hours during the car ride, according to police.
The men eventually stopped near Marshall and 9 Mile roads in Green Oak Township, where they forced the woman out of the car and told her to walk toward a "dark and less populated area," according to police.

They told her if she walked in any other direction that they would kill her, according to police.
Once the suspects left the area, the woman went to the nearest house to get help, according to police.
Officers arrived and took the woman to a nearby hospital where she was treated for several broken bones and lacerations, according to police.
Investigators obtained a description of the suspect's vehicle and both men. They found the vehicle and one of the suspects the next morning. He was arrested in connection with the incident.
Warren Police found the second man and arrested him in connection with the incident. He was transferred to the Livingston County Jail.
Police did not release any names or a motive for the assault. They are still investigating the incident.
