A popular country music festival will not return to its traditional Michigan location this summer, according to reports.

Faster Horses, a music festival known for showcasing some of the biggest country music stars at Michigan International Speedway, was canceled for the second year in a row.

The specific reasons why organizers are not returning to the racetrack were unclear. It was also unclear if the event will happen in Michigan at all this year.

The racetrack sits in Cambridge Township, near Brooklyn in northwestern Lenawee County.

Organizers canceled the festival last year because organizers said they were "taking a year to make plans for a bigger and better Faster Horses for our fans that deserve the absolute best."
