Semi Driver Caught With Dozens Of Illegal Weapons On Mackinac Bridge In MI: Police
The weapons included throwing stars and a sword with a 32-inch blade, according to police.

ST. IGNACE, MI — A Texas man is facing charges after he was caught with numerous illegal weapons while driving a semi across the Mackinac Bridge in northern Michigan last week, according to Michigan State Police.
Eric Koroscik, 54, of Kingwood, Texas, was charged with carrying a concealed weapon. He had an active warrant for his arrest and was arrested and placed in jail, according to police.
Koroscik is expected to face more charges. His next court date is scheduled for April 10.

Koroscik was speeding and driving recklessly across the Mackinac Bridge last Wednesday when he was stopped by a Michigan State Police Motor Carrier Officer, according to police.
Officers searched the semi and found 15 double-edged knives (including three with brass knuckle handles), two throwing stars, two sets of brass knuckles, five loaded handguns, a loaded shotgun, a loaded rifle and a sword with a 32-inch blade.

Officers noted he did not have a Concealed Pistol License and also found two open containers of alcohol inside the semi truck, according to police.
Investigators learned later the driver had falsified his electronic logging device records.
