It will be hotter Tuesday across southeastern Michigan as highs will reach the mid 90s with heat indices climbing toward 100 degrees in the afternoon, according to the weather service.

Multiple rounds of strong to severe thunderstorms will hit southeastern Michigan between 6 a.m. and 5 p.m. Tuesday, according to the weather service.

Those storms will be capable of producing heavy downpours, large hail and damaging wind gusts reaching up to 60 miles per hour, according to the weather service.
