SOUTHEASTERN MICHIGAN — Thunderstorms are possible across southeastern Michigan on Friday afternoon as temperatures climb toward the mid-70s, according to the National Weather Service.

Isolated and scattered thunderstorms are expected to cross the region sometime during the evening hours Friday along a powerful cold front, according to the National Weather Service.

The strong cold front will push temperatures across southeastern Michigan back down into the low 50s Saturday with more rain expected during the nighttime hours, according to the National Weather Service.

Those rain showers will bleed over into Sunday, when temperatures in the region struggle to reach 50 degrees during the afternoon, according to the National Weather Service. Forecasters do not expect any severe weather with the weekend rainmakers.

Temperatures in the region will stay cool Monday as highs will only hit the mid 40s with morning rain showers, according to the National Weather Service.

Tuesday, Halloween, will be even cooler with highs only in the low 40s, though no rain is expected during the evening hours, according to the National Weather Service.
