'We're All Crying': Customer Leaves $10K Tip At MI Breakfast Cafe

BENTON HARBOR, MI — A customer at a western Michigan breakfast restaurant left a $10,000 tip on a $32 bill Monday.

The Mason Jar Cafe in Benton Harbor, which is along the Lake Michigan shoreline, posted the bill on their Facebook page. The server shared the tip with other staff to spread the love, according to the post, which started out with "I’M CRYING, YOU’RE CRYING, WE’RE ALL CRYING."

"In a time where so much is happening, we wanted to share and thank the person who did this life changing act. Things can feel real heavy sometimes, but this was such an amazing act to have seen first hand in our restaurant," restaurant members said in the post. "So to everyone doing what they can for themselves, and for others, we see you, thank you, and appreciate you. Keep sharing the love where you can folks."
