- Summer hours go into effect Monday at the Huntington Woods Public Library. The facility will be open 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday; the library will be closed on the weekend. The summer hours remain in effect through August.
- Berkley School District students' last day will be Thursday and teachers' final day of the 2012-2013 academic year will be Friday.
- The nation will celebrate Flag Day on Friday, June 14.
- Shanti Yoga in Berkley will host the inaugural Yoga Gives to St. Jude Kids 12-hour yogathon Saturday, June 15.
