The goal of Empowered Childbirth class is that women have confidence in their inherent ability to give birth, freedom and support they need, and to give birth naturally. In this weekend class women learn to understand and trust normal, natural, physiologic birth and are encouraged to work actively with labor and to plan carefully for the freedom and support they will need. Women are encouraged to let labor start on its own, and to keep their babies with them from the moment of birth. Empowered Childbirth Education is passionate about promoting natural birth and is determined to help women increase their confidence in their ability to give birth naturally.
