The magnificent ballet “Pina,” a Film shown in HD, comes to The Berman on Wednesday, December 19 at 7:30pm.
In “Pina,” German master Wim Wenders captures the brilliantly inventive world of legendary choreographer Pina Bausch. Sensual and visually stunning, “Pina” introduces audiences to Bausch's imaginative sets that include a gliding monorail, a bare stage covered with chairs and a towering man-made waterfall. It also powerfully renders the beauty and sheer physicality of the dances and dancers of her Tanztheater Wuppertal ensemble.
