At Monday night’s Berkley Instrumental Boosters meeting, Allie Archambault, senior drum major for the Berkley High School Marching Band, accepted a check from Kim Hurley of the Huntington Woods Women’s League. The HWWL donated $625 for the purchase of the drum major podium after Allie wrote a letter of request. The podium is very sturdy and has been much safer for the drum majors during several rainy pre-game and halftime shows. Allie and BIB members thanked the HWWL for the donation. The final home game featuring the BHS Marching Band’s “Motown” is Friday, Oct 18 at 7 p.m. against Royal Oak.
