Students will learn the basics of knitting, beginning with the knit stitch and using the most popular cast on technique. In this class you will learn to read a simple pattern and complete a simple garter stitch tote bag. Required materials include: size US 7 straight needles, tapestry needle, scissors, tape measure, any brand worsted weight 100% cotton yarn.
