Learn about virtual education in Detroit!

Parents of students who are looking for a new and groundbreaking education route are invited to learn more about Michigan Connections Academy (MICA), the state’s K-12 tuition-free, highly accountable virtual public school that enrolls hundreds of students across the state, at an upcoming Information Session. Information Sessions include one-on-one time with teachers, plus the opportunity to view the school’s curriculum and sample lessons.

For residents of the Detroit area, a MICA Information Session will be held on Tuesday, July 9, at Noon at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Detroit – Dearborn (5801 Southfield Expy).

By focusing on personalized learning plans, MICA allows students to maximize their academic potential while learning at their own pace and receiving opportunities to work with the best in print and online instructional resources. The combination of flexible at-home learning and a rigorous curriculum gives students the option to pursue their individual interests while never sacrificing a quality education.
