Learn how you can help end poverty at Oct. 15 Pathway to Self-Sustainability meeting

The number of people unable to provide a decent standard of living for their families continues to grow, and resources to help them are limited. Now there’s a new approach: The Pathway to Self-Sustainability project finds and develops services tracked to successfully end poverty. Forever. We help the community learn about these services and how to support them with time, talent and/or financial support, so they can help more people.

To learn more, please come to the Pathway to Self-Sustainability meeting this coming Tuesday, Oct. 15, from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. at St. James Catholic Church, 241 Pearson St. in Ferndale (west side of Woodward, south of 9 Mile). Join us and find out how even a few hours of your time or a few dollars can help end someone’s poverty.

RSVPs for the meeting are much appreciated, but not required. Please email stmasiak@hotmail.com, kathyabommarito@gmail.com or call 248-705-8868 to RSVP or for more information. Looking forward to seeing you there.
