30 and February 13 from 6:30-8:30 p.m. (No class on Thurs., Feb. 6)
In this special four-week mosaic class, you
will learn to cut and/or break stained glass, glass tile, ceramic tile and
ceramic or porcelain dishes while making a 12″ X 14″ mosaic panel. You will learn safe and effective use
of glass cutters and breakers, wheeled glass nippers and tile nippers. The
class will also teach the use of different adhesives for a variety of
materials. You are encouraged to bring to the first class any small
figurines, old jewelry, beads, leftover tile or old dishes to use in your
mosaics. The final class will be spent grouting and learning techniques
for grouting and cleaning the materials in your piece. Cost: $130 To register call: 248-544-2234
