• 'Your Attention Please' makes Michigan debut in Beverly Hills  Oct. 1 (candgnews.com) — Residents in Beverly Hills can attend a free advance screening of the documentary "Your Attention Please" tonight, Oct. 1, at Wylie E. Groves High School's Little Theater on 13 Mile Road. The film explores how social media and AI affect youth mental health and will be followed by a panel featuring mental health professionals and parent advocates, including a local parent survivor.
   

• Michigan man gets prison, ordered to pay $2.1 million, in federal fraud case (newsbreak.com) — A Beverly Hills resident has been sentenced to two years in federal prison and ordered to repay about $2.2 million for defrauding pandemic relief programs. Prosecutors say he used fake tax and business records to obtain Paycheck Protection Program funds, then spent some of the money on a home, in one of several such fraud cases pursued in Michigan.
