2016 Veterans Day: Observances in Birmingham

Free meal for veterans at Greenfield School Coney Dog night.

BIRMINGHAM, MI – The Greenfield School community will be celebrating Veterans Day on Friday evening during a Coney Dog/Salad Night for families.

The event, which starts at 6 p.m., will include activities such as card making, crafts and patriotic fun for all children. In addition, a collection drop box will be available for you to bring donations for veterans in the hospital or who are homeless. Below is a list of items that can be donated. Donations will continue to be collected in the office after November 11th and through November 30th. Veterans attending our evening event will receive a free meal. Cost for others is $7 or $25 for a family.

In addition, please take a moment to view the video which showcases one of our parents, Mr. Ian Perry. The first 60 families who attend our event will receive a green light bulb for their porch.
