2014 Birmingham Mi Citizen of the year. It has been a privilege to know Dorothy for over 30 years. I don’t know of anyone more dedicated, hard working and deserving than she. The Award Ceremony breakfast will be October 8th at 8 a.m. and due to someone’s unintentional horrible choice of time, (for me) I will be unable to attend, with appropriate, overwhelming guilt. I am sadly and somewhat shamefully unable to function (in a nice, acceptable manner) until at least 10 a.m. At 8 a.m., I am like Lon Chaney Jr. Just after midnight, with a full moon. I kid you not. Ask any of my friends. All three. Sincerely, marge. PS. I’ll be there in spirit (if I’m awake).
