• Man dies after being pinned under construction truck in Birmingham (clickondetroit.com) — A 57-year-old Dearborn Heights man died Friday after becoming trapped beneath a construction truck on Redding Road near Woodward and Quarton in Birmingham, prompting a major response from local police. Investigators say he was checking a malfunctioning lift axle when the system suddenly engaged, and the Birmingham Police Department has publicly offered condolences to his family.
