Birmingham Native Paige Mobley on 'America's Next Top Model'

"Goody Two Shoes' on rebooted show Monday night on VH1.

(Originally published on Dec. 16, 2013) Paige Mobley, who grew up in Birmingham, is one of 14 contestantson the revamped "America's Next Top Model" which returns on a new network, VH1, on Monday. The Birmingham Eccentric is reporting that Mobley, a longtime fan, barely missed a chance to appear on the CW reality show before it was cancelled after the 2015 season.

Now, the show has a new network and appears on a new day with singer Rita Ora as the host. Supermodel and positive body image advocate Ashley Graham, PaperMagazine exec Drew Elliott and stylist Law Roach ae on the judging panel for the show, which offers a $100,000 prize, a commercial feature for Rimmel London, a fashion spread in PaperMagazine, and a year-long deal with VH1.

Mobley, now 22, began her modeling career at age 16. The graduate of the Academy of Sacred Heart High School in Bloomfield Hills, she's no stranger to the camera or glitterati. She is the daughter of celebrity and commercial photographer Paul Mobley.

The aspiring "Top Model" now lives in Los Angeles, where she is studying theater at Loyola Marymount University.
