No, it's not Black Friday.
It's Day on the Town, which includes a bike parade, shopping deals and entertainment, all from 9 a.m.-7 p.m. on Saturday, July 23.

The event annually draws thousands of bargain hunters from across Metro Detroit who are searching for a good deal, according to a news release on the Birmingham Shopping District's Facebook page.

Children will be led through the downtown area with a police escort just prior to the opening of the event.
In addition to the outdoor sale racks and merchandise displays, families will enjoy wandering entertainers, face painting, crafts, bouncers, magic, live music and more.
