Christopher Houlihan, Concert Organist, Performs in Birmingham Sunday
Christopher Houlihan, Concert Organist, presented by First Presbyterian Church of Birmingham.
On Sunday, October 19th at 5:00 pm, First Presbyterian Church of Birmingham hosts concert organist Christopher Houlihan. Houlihan is one of the premiere organists in the country and just finished a concert this past weekend at the Walt Disney Concert Hall in L.A. The review from the L.A. Times stated, “His recital confirmed the impressions from previous appearances at the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angels that Houlihan is the next big organ talent.”
This concert is in celebration of the 5th anniversary of the dedication of our Nichols and Simpson pipe organ. Works by Bach, Ravel, Vierne, Sowerby, and Widor. The church is located at 1669 W. Maple Rd., Birmingham, MI. Free-will offering. www.fpcbirmingham.org
