Color Birmingham Orange Sunday

Two family-friendly events – the Junior League's Pumpkin Patch and the Chamber's Halloween Parade – celebrate the season.

Birmingham will be a sea of orange Sunday with two autumn and Halloween-themed events.

The Junior League of Birmingham hosts the 21st annual Pumpkin Patch from 1-4 p.m. at The Community House, 380 S. Bates St., according to The Observer & Eccentric. Some of the fun includes a bounce house, crafting, a pumpkin patch photo station and games for kids of all ages.

Then, at 4 p.m., the Birmingham-Bloomfield Chamber of Commerce presents the 78th annual Birmingham Halloween Parade, starting at the corner of Bates and Martin streets.

“All families are encouraged to attend, but we especially welcome Birmingham families,” Junior League President Julie Gheen said. “In addition to providing a safe and healthy event for children, this event is a public thank-you to the residents and businesses in Birmingham that support our important community projects across Oakland County.”
