Junior League of Birmingham sponsors a third annual 5K run and one-mile fun run for children. Proceeds support Oakland County children's health and wellness programs.
Details:
- Packet pickups and race day registration take place from 7-8 a.m. at Shain Park.
- Route starts at Shain and winds through Birmingham.
- Race T-shirts given to 5K participants who register by April 30.
- First-place male and female finishers each receive $75 gift certificate. Teams prizes also presented.
- Each registered child receives backpack of goodies at end of walk.
