Smerek is a 17-year-old singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist performer from the Motor City. Her gift for writing music rich with melody and hook recently landed her a gig writing for Grammy Award-winning singer Colbie Caillat's next album. Smerek has two video releases of her original material, “Hey You” and “Dangerous,” which prompted Fleetwood Mac’s “Rumours” producer, Ken Caillat, to call Smerek “the best new teen artist of 2012.”
Callaghan Smerek will be featured at Downtown Birmingham's Day on the Town.
