One-man Show: Daniel Cascardo

Blu Arch Collection in Birmingham will present a one-man show March 11-20, 2011 to celebrate the work of Michigan artist Daniel Cascardo. Cascardo is a renowned visual artist from Royal Oak who specializes in paintings, sculptures and multi media projects. His colorful work ranges from whimsical cartoon-like subjects to more aesthetic and profound imagery.

Throughout the one-man show Cascardo’s work will inhabit a large portion of Blu Arch Collection, the contemporary art and design gallery which opened in November of 2010. The store specializes in  unique art pieces, including sculpture, vases and bowls, jewelry, furniture and paintings from a variety of artists, including local talent from Michigan.

According to owner Betty Lou Ruddy, “When we opened this store our goal was to bring authentic art into people’s lives and this show will give our customers a chance to get to know Daniel Cascardo and learn more about his body of work and what inspires him.”
