It IS OK.

I’ve been asked several times, “How was your Thanksgiving?’ I replied, “I don’t remember”. But its ok! Really!  I stayed home, had a nice dinner and no company. I promise you, that’s not the end of the world! I chose not to go anywhere. Yes. My choice. Since the day was quiet and unevenful, there wasn’t anything unusual or outstanding to remember! Enjoyable and simple. End of story lol. And now off to the newly discovered $5 store!
