Movies Under the Stars Return to Birmingham
The season include "The Lego Movie," "Tangled" and "Wreck It Ralph."

Birmingham is again offering movies under the stars and other family friendly entertainment in Booth Park this summer.
The crowd-drawing events begin with free pre-show activities at 7:30 p.m., followed by popular family movies at dusk. Attendees will have an opportunity to win prizes from Birmingham merchants.
Families are encouraged to grab a blanket or lawn chair and head to Booth Park, located on the west side of North Old Woodward, just north of Harmon Street, for the following Movie Nights:

Friday, June 19 – Featured presentation: The Lego Movie. Pre-show entertainment will include live performances by Axis Music Academy and DMC Children’s Hospital. Vehicles will be on display from Presenting Sponsor Fred Lavery Company. Free ice cream is sponsored by Tyler Dumas Reyes; free popcorn is sponsored by Bank of Birmingham; free Sno Cones are sponsored by Goldfish Swim School and The Robot Garage will provide an interactive lego table for children to play and build upon.
Friday, July 17 – Featured presentation: Tangled. Pre-show entertainment will be provided by DMC Children’s Hospital. Vehicles will be on display from Presenting Sponsor Fred Lavery Company. Free ice cream is sponsored by Goldfish Swim School; free popcorn is sponsored by Meadowbrook Urgent Care.
