Wayne is the former president and CEO of the investment advisory group of Freedom One Financial Group, and Paul is the owner of The Sealer Store in Bloomfield Hills, a national provider of exterior wood and concrete coatings.
Dogs boarded at the business will get exercise and socialization, something they’re often deprived of as owners work longer hours and have less time to devote to their pets, Paul said in a news release.
Wayne said the businesses in Bloomfield Township and Utica were met with praise.
“I’ve heard from pet parents that they’re amazed at the difference in their dog’s behavior after a day at day care — all that pent up energy they’d normally have to deal with after work is instead spent at our day care, which leaves the dog happy and relaxed,” he said.
The privately held, Phoenix-based Dogtopia Enterprises LLC has 40 locations in Canada and the United States.
