New Shawarma Restaurant Opening In Oakland County

BEVERLY HILLS, MI — My Big Fat Shawarma is opening its newest restaurant in Oakland County.

The new restaurant will be located at 31243 Southfield Road in Beverly Hills. It will open on Saturday, Sept. 12.

The grand opening celebration will feature giveaways and special offers throughout the day, including free shawarma bowls or wraps for the first 100 guests, $50 gift card raffles every half hour, $100 gift card raffles every hour and an electric bike giveaway valued at $4,400.

"The feedback from the Beverly Hills community has already been incredible," My Big Fat Shawarma Managing Partner and COO Leith Sawa said. "As a way to thank everyone who has supported us since we opened our first location in 2023, we’re making sure this grand opening is our biggest celebration yet."

My Big Fat Shawarma will offer the brand's signature shawarma bowls, wraps and sides. The dishes will be built on bold flavors like its signature Fat Sauce and quality ingredients from filet steak to chicken that have made the brand a metro Detroit favorite.

The opening marks the fourth location for the metro Detroit-based fast-casual brand. Other locations include Detroit (Midtown), Warren and West Bloomfield.

The new Beverly Hills location will be open 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Sundays.
