Now Playing in Birmingham: Movie Nights in Booth Park
"Minions," "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" and "Inside Out" will be shown during summer movie nights in Birmingham.

Birmingham, MI — Family-friendly movies under the stars are playing in Booth Park this summer.
The Birmingham Shopping District's Movie Night events feature presentations and pre-show entertainers carefully selected to appeal to both children and adults.
The crowd-drawing events begin with free pre-show activities at 7:30 p.m., followed by popular family movies at dusk.

Attendees will have an opportunity to win prizes from Birmingham merchants. Families are encouraged to grab a blanket or lawn chair and head to Booth Park (located on the west side of North Old Woodward, just south of Harmon Street) for the following Movie Nights:
Friday, June 24 — featured presentation: "Minions." Pre-show entertainment will include a live performance by DMC Children’s Hospital’s Rock Out Entertainment. Presenting Sponsors include Fred Lavery Company and DMC’s Children’s Hospital of Michigan. Free ice cream is sponsored by Departure Travel and free popcorn is sponsored by Goldfish Swim School. In case of inclement weather, this movie will be held at Berkshire Middle School's Gymnasium.

Presenting Sponsors include Fred Lavery Company and DMC Children’s Hospital of Michigan. Free ice cream is sponsored by Goldfish Swim School and TDR Ortho; free popcorn will also be provided. In case of inclement weather, this movie will be held at Seaholm High School's Gymnasium.
Friday, August 12 – featured presentation: "Inside Out." Pre-show entertainment will include live performances by Carl Sterr and DMC Children’s Hospital’s Rock Out Entertainment. Presenting sponsors include Fred Lavery Company and DMC Children’s Hospital of Michigan. Free popcorn is sponsored by Goldfish Swim School and free ice cream will also be provided. In case of inclement weather, this movie will be held at Seaholm High School's Gymnasium.
