Register Now for Celebrate Birmingham Homecoming Parade

The annual parade kicks off the spring and summer season in downtown Birmingham.

BIRMINGHAM, MI – Individuals, businesses, school and community groups, marching bands and others should register now for the upcoming Celebrate Birmingham Hometown Parade that kicks off the spring and summer season in downtown Birmingham.

This year’s theme is “A Celebration of the Great Outdoors,” and parade participants are asked to reflect the them in their floats and costuming and in other respects. The parade takes place at 1 p.m. on Sunday, May 15.

After the parade, children’s activities, storlling prade performers, food and live music begin in Shain Park.

Parade registration forms, available online here, must be submitted by Friday, April 29. Letters of confirmtion and prade positions will be confirmed by letter mailed during the second week of May. For more information, call Laura Pierce at (248) 530-1880 or visit www.bhamgov.org/parade.
