Several students were injured in the mess and staff was compromised, administrators say in abrupt announcement calling off senior dinner.

BIRMINGHAM, MI – Several Seaholm High School students were injured after exuberant graduating seniors left a sticky gooey mess in the halls Thursday, school administrators said in an email to parents.
“A very large portion of senior class crossed boundaries with their fun that led to not just a mess, but a safety hazard,” Principal Rachel M. Guinn said in an email that was co-signed by Assistant Principals Ali Hamka, Kyle Hall and Verynda Strought.
“The shaving cream, Silly String, water balloons, syrup, soap and stink bombs prevented students from being able to walk safely to classes," they wrote. “Several students sustained injuries and staff were compromised.”
