Volunteers needed for US Amateur

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED FOR 2016 U.S. AMATEUR AT OAKLAND HILLS COUNTRY CLUB

Volunteers are needed for the 116th U.S. Amateur Championship, to be held August 15-21, 2016, at Oakland Hills Country Club in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan.

Oakland Hills, which will celebrate its centennial anniversary next year, last hosted the U.S. Amateur in 2002. The club has hosted six U.S. Opens, three PGA Championships and the 2004 Ryder Cup.
Volunteers must pay a $75 fee to cover the cost of their volunteer uniform. However, they enjoy free admission to Saturday and Sunday practice rounds and all seven days of the championship as well as access to exclusive volunteer-only parking and hospitality area.
