This Wednesday's Rock the Veil Wedding Showcase Plays a Popular New Beat for Local Engaged Couples

Engaged couples are in for a wonderful treat this Wednesday from 6 pm to 10 pm at the Royal Oak Farmers Market. The unparalleled Rock the Veil Wedding Showcase returns for a winter/spring extravaganza with an exciting lineup of more than 50 exhibitors, two entertainment stages brimming with non-stop wedding DJ and live musical performances, and the food of a couple of the area’s best food trucks. The Rock the Veil Wedding Showcase has been created to be a true celebration of planning life’s greatest celebration.

Open from 6 pm to 10 pm, the Rock the Veil Wedding Showcase boasts a convenient weekday evening timeslot – couples no longer have to give up their precious weekends attending wedding shows. From gowns to florist to reception venues, all of their wedding needs are present at Rock the Veil.

The Rock the Veil Wedding Showcase is also the first event of its kind in metro Detroit to openly market itself to heterosexual and LGBT couples simultaneously. After all, love is love…period.

Performing musical talent includes The Sail Band (6 pm – 7 pm), Rockstar Weddings (7 pm – 8 pm) and Alan Turner and the Steel Horse Band (8 pm – 9 pm).

Attending couples, their friends and family members will have the opportunity to purchase food from three of the area’s best food trucks and concessionaires: Norma G’s Food Truck (Caribbean cuisine), Drifter Coffee (coffee and snacks) and EJ’s Gourmet Street Cuisine (gourmet hot dogs and sausages). We encourage guests to skip getting dinner in advance and enjoy the flavorful fare of these mobile eateries. Door prizes will abound for attendees including tickets to an advance screening of My Big Fat Greek Wedding 2 for the couple’s entire wedding party.
